Each coach can accommodate up to 945 standing passengers and has 138 seats, with twelve seats reserved for women and persons with disabilities. For passenger convenience, charging points for mobile phones and laptops have also been installed in every coach.
Patna Metro Safety
For safety, each coach is equipped with 360-degree CCTV cameras, emergency buttons, and microphones that allow passengers to communicate directly with the train operator in case of emergencies. According to officials, the footage will be transmitted in real time to a central control room. Red panic buttons are installed near every door, while real-time information displays and audio announcements will guide passengers throughout the journey.
Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP) personnel will be deployed across all metro premises for security. An official confirmed that BSAP officers will be stationed at key locations, including entry gates, platforms, and inside trains, to ensure commuter safety.
