Delhi- Patna Vande Bharat Train: The Northern Railway has announced a festival special Vande Bharat train service between Delhi and Patna to meet the surge in passenger demand during the festive season. The special train will operate from October 11 to November 15, ensuring faster and more comfortable travel for passengers heading home for celebrations.

Festival Season Travel Made Easier

In an official statement, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, said the move aims to facilitate travel during the upcoming festive rush. “The special Vande Bharat trains will cater to the increased demand for travel during the festival season and ensure a safe and comfortable journey for passengers,” he stated.

Delhi–Patna Vande Bharat: Train Schedule And Route Details

The Delhi– Patna Vande Bharat (Train No. 02252) will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, making a total of 16 trips during the festive period. It will depart from New Delhi at 8:35 AM and reach Patna at 9:30 PM the same day, completing the journey in less than 13 hours.

The train will halt at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara stations along the route.

Similarly, the Patna– Delhi Vande Bharat (Train No. 02251) will begin service from October 12, running every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. It will depart from Patna at 10 AM and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 PM the same day.

Comfort And Capacity

Officials said the special Vande Bharat train will comprise 16 coaches, designed to accommodate a large number of passengers while maintaining comfort and safety standards.
