Bihar Weather Update: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms along with movement of clouds in most parts of Bihar on Friday. In this regard, IMD has issued a yellow alert for lightning along with strong winds in six districts including - Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Bhabua, Arwal and Aurangabad.

Bihar Weather Forecast 

As per the weather body, there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature during the next four days, after which a drop of two to three degrees is expected. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, the effect of monsoon will be seen after three days. On September 8, a warning was issued for heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Jamui, Banka and West Champaran districts.

On Friday, there is a possibility of scattered rainfall at some places along with the movement of clouds in Patna and its surrounding areas. During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 34.4 mm was recorded in Chargharia of Kishanganj. The maximum temperature of Patna was 34.0 degree Celsius and Madhubani recorded the highest temperature of the state with 35.5 degree Celsius.

Rain ACtivity In Major Bihar Cities

29.4 mm of rain was recorded in Makhdumpur of Jehanabad, 27 mm in Indrapuri of Rohtas, 24.6 mm in Khijrasarai of Gayaji, 19 mm in Kahra of Saharsa, 17.8 mm in Jehanabad, 17.2 mm in Narhat of Nawada, 16.4 mm in Thakurganj of Kishanganj, 15.6 mm in Sarai of Muzaffarpur, 15.4 mm in Hulasganj of Jehanabad, 14.8 mm in Nawanagar of Buxar, 14.2 mm in Hisua of Nawada, 14.2 mm in Bhabua.

At the same time, 12.8 mm rain was recorded in Pothia of Kishanganj, 12.6 mm in Maharajganj of Siwan, 12.4 mm in Sahar of Bhojpur, 12.3 mm in Munger, 12.2 mm in Forbesganj, 12.2 mm in Sahebpur Canal of Begusarai, 12.2 mm in Ratni Faridpur of Jehanabad, 12 mm in Narpatganj of Araria, 11.2 mm in Kochas of Rohtas and 10.6 mm in Kaler of Arwal.
