With the Bihar elections underway, all parties have entered the fray. The Jan Suraaj party's election campaign is also ongoing. On Friday, Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor addressed a public meeting in West Champaran.
During an interaction with the media, PK took aim at Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said, "Earlier in Bihar, booths were looted. But now, Amit Shah has started a new practice of 'looting candidates.' He 'looted' 3-4 of our candidates, so today in Gopalganj, we have returned one with interest. The people of Bihar will settle the rest of the score."
For context, the Jan Suraaj party has announced its support for independent candidate Anoop Srivastava in Gopalganj.
Prashant Kishor continued, "The public is watching how these Gujarati people, sitting in Delhi, are deciding the future of Bihar. They want Bihar to remain a factory for laborers. They want the children of Bihar to go and work as laborers while the people of Gujarat remain factory owners."
Prashant Kishor did not stop there; he also criticised PM Modi. Targeting the Prime Minister, PK said, "He had promised 12,000 trains for Bihar for Chhath Puja, but the people of Bihar are being beaten with sticks (lathis) and jostled at stations across the country, and are forced to travel while sitting in toilets."
Prashant Kishor also leveled a serious allegation against the BJP, stating that the party has pressured Jan Suraaj candidates in three seats to stop them from contesting.

He accused the BJP, saying, "In the Danapur, Gopalganj, and Brahmapur seats, Amit Shah, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other BJP leaders pressured Jan Suraaj candidates, forcing them to either not file their nominations or to withdraw them."
