Haj 2026: The Bihar State Haj Committee has begun the online application process for Haj 2026. Interested individuals planning to undertake the pilgrimage can submit their applications through the Haj Committee of India’s official website www.hajcommittee.gov.in or via the mobile app ‘Haj Suvidha’. The last date to apply is July 31, 2025, until 11:59 PM.

Mohammad Rashid Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of the Haj Committee, has urged mosque imams, educators, social workers and public figures to raise awareness about the religious significance of Haj during Friday prayers and public events. He stated that such efforts could encourage more people to fulfil this spiritual obligation.

Bihar: Haj 2026 Passport Validity and Name Format Essential

Applicants must hold a machine-readable Indian international passport valid at least till December 31, 2026. Those who either do not possess a passport or have one nearing expiry are advised to apply for a new passport promptly.

Officials also stated that while applying for a passport, it is mandatory to enter the surname and last name correctly, as these details are required for the Nusuk portal used in the Haj process. The committee has also advised applicants to carefully evaluate their readiness and commitment before applying, as cancellations later may result in financial loss.
