The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced a special religious tourism package for devotees and tourists. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will be operated under the ‘Jyotirlinga Darshan evam Akshardham Mandir Yatra’ (Jyotirlinga Darshan and Akshardham Temple Tour). This tour will begin on March 11 and conclude on March . The journey will be for a total of eight nights and nine days. Rajesh Kumar, the Regional Manager of IRCTC, stated that this special tour package will cover visits to the country's major religious sites. This initiative by IRCTC is being considered a significant step towards promoting the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ campaigns.

Destinations: Ujjain, Dwarka, Somnath And Akshardham

The tour will run from March 11 to 19, with the tourist train departing from Bhagalpur. During the tour, devotees will visit the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain, Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Somnath Jyotirlinga, the Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka and Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and the Akshardham Temple in Ahmedabad.

Boarding Points And Route Across Bihar And UP

The journey will start from Bhagalpur and proceed via Jamalpur, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna Junction, Jehanabad, Gaya, Anugrah Narayan Road, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, and Prayagraj. Passengers can begin their journey from any of these stations. Passengers will be able to board from eight districts. This special tourist train is being operated with passengers from Eastern India, including Bihar in mind.

Package Inclusions And Class-Wise Fares

The tour will be fully all-inclusive, including rail travel, hotel accommodation, vegetarian meals, local sightseeing tours, transfers, onboard security, travel insurance and special IRCTC services. Tourism Assistant Manager Vishwaranjan Saha and Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Supervisor of the Zonal Office Kolkata, stated that three categories have been set for the package. The fare for Economy Class is set at Rs 18,850 per passenger, Standard Class at Rs 33,995, and Comfort Class at Rs 41,990 per passenger. Hotel and transport facilities will be provided according to the category.
