Speaking to the news agency, Bihar's Khan sir said that it was his wife's decision to wear a veil during the reception. He said that it was his wife's childhood dream to wear a veil, that would distinguish the bride from the rest of the crowd.

When asked if he felt bad by the comments people shared online, Khan Sir said, "No, we come from a village. We have a culture their which we cannot oversee. I tried to make her persuade her but it was her decision and wish to wear the veil."

This isn’t the first time a prominent public figure has been targeted with such fabricated content- similar incidents have surfaced in the past. Despite this, many people are sharing the video on social media, mistakenly believing it to be real.
