Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is scheduled to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects in the Sakra block of Mujaffarp, followed by a dialogue programme with local stakeholders.
Ahead of the visit, the district administration is on full alert. On Sunday, District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen, SSP Sushil Kumar, along with SDM, BDO, CO, and other senior officials, inspected the event venue and reviewed preparations. Security arrangements, helipad construction, stage setup, parking, traffic management, and sanitation were closely examined. The DM instructed officials to strengthen security measures at all levels, with adequate deployment of magistrates and police personnel.
A helipad has been constructed at a primary school located half a kilometre from the venue, from where the Chief Minister will travel by road to the event site. Stalls showcasing initiatives from departments such as Jeevika, ICDS, and Industries will also be set up, which the CM will inspect and interact with the workers. Senior, nodal, and supporting officials have been assigned to ensure smooth coordination.
Medical facilities, including a camp with specialist doctors, paramedical staff, and an ambulance equipped with an advanced life support system, have been arranged for the visit.
Notably, the Chief Minister’s previous visit to this location in 2022 was postponed at the last minute. Several projects, including plastic waste-based production and cooking gas from cow dung, have been undertaken in the area, with renovation and painting work being carried out rapidly in preparation for the upcoming visit.
