The second round of counselling for admission to the MBBS 2025 session at Sri Krishna Medical College (SKMC), Muzaffarpur, will be held from September 24 to September 27. Principal Dr Abha Rani Sinha has directed the admissions in-charge, Dr Anant Prasad, to verify the documents of candidates attending this round.
The document verification process, as per the schedule set by the BCECE Board, Patna, will take place in the MEU Hall of the college. Heads of all departments have been instructed to nominate two doctors or faculty members each to assist in the verification. After successful verification, the candidates will be enrolled for MBBS seats.
In the first round of counselling, only five admissions were made out of 120 MBBS seats. Principal Dr Sinha expressed hope that the number of admissions would increase after the second round. Following the completion of this round, a list of vacant seats will be shared with the BCECE Board, which will conduct the third round of counselling accordingly.
In a separate directive, SKMC has been instructed by the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi, and the Bihar Health Department to upload academic activities of teachers on the college website between the 1st and 3rd of every month. The data will include teaching, training, workshops, research papers, publications, and work experience.
