Patna Metro Blue Line Stations To Have Two Levels

Each station on the Blue Line will have two levels – a concourse and a platform. The concourse will offer ticket counters, waiting areas, retail shops, food courts, lifts, escalators, stairways, and information kiosks for passenger convenience. Khemnichak station will function as a major interchange, featuring three levels and two platforms to ensure smooth transfer between Corridor I (Danapur-Khemnichak) and Corridor II.

The total cost of the Patna Metro project is estimated at Rs 13,925 crore. Of this, 20 per cent will be funded by the Bihar government, 20 per cent by the Centre, and the remaining 60 per cent through a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
