Patna Weather Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for lightning, thunder and winds blowing at the speed of 50-80 km per hour in eight Bihar districts. These include - Supaul, Madhepura, Saharsa, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar and Khagaria. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, cyclonic circulation of air is formed over the Ganges coastal area of West Bengal and its surrounding northern parts. Due to this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 40-50 km per hour in 30 districts including Patna. There may be sporadic rainfall at some places, jagran.com reported.

Easterly Winds To Continue In Bihar

The effect of easterly winds will remain with partly cloudy weather in most parts of Bihar. There is a possibility of scattered rainfall at some places with thunderstorms in most parts of the northern and southern parts of the state till May 7. There may be a change in the weather after this.

THESE Bihar Districts Received Rain In Last 24 Hours

During the last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded in different parts of West Champaran, Katihar, Gaya, Samastipur, Madhepura, Aurangabad, Kishanganj, Supaul, Purnia. The highest rainfall of 65.0 mm was recorded in Ramnagar of West Champaran.

Dehri Remained The Hottest In Bihar

On Sunday, a decrease in maximum temperature was recorded in most parts including Patna. The maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 35.1 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature of the state was recorded in Dehri with 37.2 degrees Celsius.

Major Cities Record Rainfall

34.2 mm of rain was recorded in Chanpatia of West Champaran, 31.2 mm in Barari of Katihar, 27.0 mm in Bagaha of West Champaran, 15.4 mm in Imamganj of Gaya, 12.0 mm in Mohanpur of Samastipur, 12.2 mm in Kursela of Katihar, 8.2 mm in Dumariya of Gaya, 6.8 mm in Patori of Samastipur.

6.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Manpur of Gaya, 6.0 mm in Aurangabad, 4.2 mm in Gaya, 3.6 mm in Rafiganj of Aurangabad, 3.0 mm in Sheikhpura, 2.4 mm in Daudnagar of Aurangabad, 2.4 mm in Dobhi of Gaya, 2.0 mm in Bhawanipur of Purnia.
