Patna Weather Today: Patna, along with several other districts of Bihar, experienced rain accompanied by strong winds at 40 to 50 Kmph on Monday. The IMD bulletin anticipated challenging weather conditions in the southern parts of Bihar, including Patna, on May 8 and 9. The city is expected to witness a sharp rise in day temperatures in the coming days. The combination of high temperature and humidity will make the weather unlivable. Hot weather coupled with moisture in the air is anticipated to create sultry conditions.

The maximum temperature in Patna was recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was 25.6 degrees Celsius. A sharp increase of 4-6 degrees Celsius in temperature is expected in the coming days, with the temperature breaching the mark of 40 degrees Celsius today. The highest temperature in the current week is likely to reach 46 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Bihar Weather Update

According to the Meteorological Centre, on Tuesday, May 6, there is a likelihood of thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate to heavy rainfall in the Himalayan foothill districts of North Bihar. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 km/h, for which a yellow alert has been issued. The affected districts include Pashchim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj.

Bihar Weather Forecast: Sharp Surge In Temperature Expected

The weather in South Bihar districts is expected to remain dry from today, with IMD forecasts indicating intense sunlight and rising temperatures. The department predicts a decrease in rainfall activities across the state from May 6, followed by a potential increase in daytime temperatures by 4°C to 6°C over the next four days. Nighttime temperatures are also expected to rise by 4°C to 6°C during the same period.
