Ahead of the much-hyped Bihar Assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Patna on May 29 to address a political rally and inaugurate some projects. In his two-day visit, PM Modi will arrive in Patna in the late hours of May 29 and will inaugurate the new terminal building of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan Airport. He will address a crowd in Vikramganj of Rohtas district on May 30 and will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects on the same day. The visit by the prime minister will be his first since Operation Sindoor and third in the past four months.
While providing details, Bihar BJP chief Dileep Jaiswal stated that PM Modi will visit Bihar for the third time in four months. He further stated that Modi had earlier visited Bhagalpur on February 24 and Madhubani on April 24. He reminded that during his visit to Bhagalpur, the amount of the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was sent to the accounts of the farmers of the country through DBT. Apart from this, the prime minister had also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many schemes.
On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day on April 24, PM Modi had given the details of the assistance provided by the Central Government to Jeevika sisters while addressing a crowd in Madhubani. Apart from this, PM Modi had also laid the foundation stone of many schemes related to railway, road, and flood management. Modi's meeting in Rohtas is expected to give a boost to the preparation of the NDA, which had lost five seats in the Shahabad region in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Earlier on April 24, PM Modi had assured to take strong action against the terrorists after the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 tourists were killed. Indian armed forces carried out Operation Sindoor in multiple terror sites in Pakistan on May 7.
