Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the city as the key Hebbal flyover will remain closed. The commuters travelling through the Hebbal flyover from Esteem Mall to the Baptist Hospital are advised to check the detailed advisory and follow the diversions in place.

In an official statement, the traffic police said that the flyover will remain closed due to the construction of additional ramps to the Hebbal flyover towards Mekhri circle from the KR Pura side.

Date, Timing Of Closure 

The official notification said that seven 33.5 m long steel girders will be installed on the railway tracks. The restrictions will be imposed between 12:00 am to 3:00 am for the next four nights, from May 17 to May 21.

The notification read, "Bangalore Development Authority has undertaken a project to construct additional ramps to the existing Hebbal flyover from KR Pura side towards Mekhri circle. As part of the said work, installation of 07 steel girders of 33.5 m length on the railway tracks will be undertaken from 17.05.2025 to 21.05.2025 every day for 3 hours from 12:00 AM to 03:00 AM. Hence, the following traffic changes will be made during this work to ensure free flow of traffic."

Diversions In Place

As the traffic will be affected from midnight to 3:00 am, the traffic police has announced diversions. As per the information, vehicles heading from Kempegowda International Airport to Mekhri Circle can take following routes:

-Take Service Road at Esteem mall
-Take a right turn at Hebbal Circle and head towards Tumkur Road
-Head to Mekhri Circle using New BEL Road
-Take a lest at Kuvempur Circle
