PM Gramin Awas Yojana 2025: The Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, a Central Government initiative for providing housing to the homeless in rural areas, began its process with a comprehensive survey in May.

- Following the announcement of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the Model Code of Conduct came into effect, leaving the verification for the rural housing survey incomplete.

- In view of this, the work of setting targets for new construction and the disbursement of new instalments for existing homes has been halted, Jagran.com reported.

- Following the conclusion of the Bihar Assembly elections, work on the housing scheme has officially resumed. The Rural Development Department has issued directives for forming district-level teams, which are now assigned to immediately review the pending surveys under the PMAY-G.

- The investigation report prepared by this team will be sent to headquarters to make key decisions on the housing scheme, the report added.

- Based on the report, new construction targets will be allocated to the district. Following the target allocation, both the release of instalments for new beneficiaries and the disbursement of pending instalments for houses whose construction remains incomplete will take place.

How To Check Your Name In PMAY-G 2025 List?

Beneficiaries can check their name in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) list for 2025 online, even without a registration number. Follow these steps to view the beneficiary list for your village:

- Visit the official website of PMAY-G

- Click on the 'Stakeholders' section.

- Select 'IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary' or 'Search Beneficiary'.

- If you do not have the registration number, click on 'Advanced Search'.

- Select your State, District, Block and Village.

- Fill the captcha and click on 'Submit'.

After submission, the complete beneficiary list for your selected village will be displayed. This list will include key details, including the approval status of applications and the status of instalment payments.
