Railway News: The East Central Railway on Wednesday decided to extend the operation period of seven pairs of special trains to accommodate more passengers during the summer vacation. The authority stated that the extension will provide a major convenience to the passengers traveling to multiple states, including Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab. It further stated that the decision was taken after receiving several requests, adding that there has been a significant surge in the number of passengers on multiple routes in the past few weeks. The advisory also advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the advisory stated that train number 04504 (Chandigarh-Patna Special) will operate from Chandigarh every Thursday from June 5 to June 10. It further stated that train number 04503 (Patna-Chandigarh Special) will run every Friday from June 6 to June 11. Apart from this, the advisory stated that train number 09067 (Udhna-Jayanagar Special train) will run from Udhna every Sunday from June 1 to June 29, adding that train number 09068 (Jaynagar-Udhna Special) will operate from Jaynagar every Monday from June 2 to June 30.

It further stated that train number 09069 (Udhna-Samastipur Special) will run from Udhna every Saturday from June 7 to June 28, adding that train number 09070 (Samastipur-Udhna Special) will operate from Samastipur every Monday between June 9 and June 30. Apart from this, train number 07315 (Hubballi-Muzaffarpur Special) will operate from Hubballi every Monday from June 2 to June 30. The advisory further stated that train number 07316 (Muzaffarpur-Hubballi Special) will operate from Muzaffarpur every Thursday from June 5 to July 3.

The railway further informed that train number 07311 (Vasco da Gama-Muzaffarpur Special) will operate from Vasco da Gama every Monday between June 9 and June 23. It further stated that train number 07312 (Muzaffarpur-Vasco da Gama special) will run from Muzaffarpur every Thursday from June 12 to June 26.
