Bihar News: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday stated that the government will carry out beautification work on the Badua River in Banka district. While providing details, he stated that the construction will be done under the River Front Development Project, adding that the total cost of the project is likely to be Rs 15 crores. He also stated that this project will boost the religious tourism in the area, as the famous Tildiha Durga temple is also situated in the same region. The project is also likely to provide new job opportunities in Banka and other nearby districts.
While providing details, the deputy chief minister stated that stair ghats equipped with modern facilities, green areas, attractive lighting, footpaths, and jogging tracks will be constructed on the riverbank. He further assured that the construction work under this scheme will commence in the upcoming few days. He also stated that similar projects will be announced in the upcoming months to boost the regional connectivity and financial activities in the region.
Choudhary further stated that the NDA government is continuously working to promote religious tourism in the state.
