Uttarakhand Weather News: Uttarakhand is facing rain wrath after heavy rain in Karligarh Sahastradhara area on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday triggered flash floods in Dehradun. Amid landslide, cloudburst, and damage due to rain-related incidents, the IMD has issued an Orange alert in Dehradun, Nainital, and Champawat for very intense to intense rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places.

According to the latest weather forecast bulletin released by the India Meteorological Department at 12 noon on Tuesday, three of the Uttarakhand districts have been placed for intense to very intense rainfall at isolated places today. Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts are on a yellow alert for intense to heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightning.
