Bihar Election 2025: Rashtriya Janata Dal's expelled leader and Lalu Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, on Sunday stated that those insulting his elder sister, Rohini Acharya, will have to face repercussions. Yadav stated that he respects his sister and those insulting her would suffer the "Sudarshan Chakra" of Lord Krishna. The remarks from the former RJD leader came after Acharya unfollowed several top leaders of the party, including her brother and leader Tejashwi Yadav. Earlier on Friday, a controversy erupted after Acharya questioned Tejashwi's aide Sanjay Yadav occupying the front seat of the campaign van.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Acharya asserted that she has fulfilled all the duties of a daughter and a sister, adding that she seeks no position in the party. "I have fulfilled my duty and dharma as a daughter and a sister, and I will continue to do so. I have no desire for any position, nor do I have any political ambition. For me, my self-respect is supreme," Acharya, who donated a kidney for Lalu Yadav, stated in her post.

While reacting to her post and reports of an internal rift in the party, Tej Pratap stated that he will not forgive anyone insulting his sister. "Rohini is much older than me. As a child, I played in her lap. The sacrifice she had made is hard for any daughter, sister and mother. I am fully with my sister in the ongoing episode. Whoever dares to insult her will have to face Krishna's 'Sudarshan Chakra'," Yadav was quoted as saying by ANI.

With just few months remaining in the Bihar assembly election, Lalu Yadav's family has been hit by internal rift reports. While Tej Pratap has already been expelled from the party, the party supremo and former Bihar chief minister is yet to address the current issues.
