Bihar Politics:  All parties have already begun preparations for the assembly elections to be conducted in Bihar in 2025. In such a scenario, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition and former Deputy Chief Minister, claimed that Bihar is the poorest state in the NITI Aayog report. Migration, along with unemployment and poverty, remains the most serious challenge. The Nitish government has failed to resolve this issue. On Tuesday, the former Deputy CM gave these remarks at a local guest house.

He had arrived in Madhepura during the fourth phase of the worker darshan cum dialogue program. He stated that Bihar cannot thrive with a fatigued Chief Minister and retired officials. Change is necessary.

Tejashwi's Response To JDU MP Lalan Singh

In response to JDU MP Lalan Singh's remarks regarding the Mai Behan Samman Yojana, he stated that the Chief Minister should first explain the source of the two billion 25 crore 78 lakh rupees being spent on the 15-day trip to Bihar. The public ought to be informed about this.

In response to the One Nation One Election, he stated that BJP supporters want to install RSS law in the country. He said that the Election Commission cannot hold elections on time. Multiple states cannot hold elections at the same time. If elections cannot be held in one state in a single phase, how will they be held simultaneously across the country.

He stated that if the goal is to save costs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should first disclose how much money he has spent on commercials over the last 11 years. He said, "Today he says One Nation, One Election. Then he'll declare tomorrow, One Nation, One Party. Following that, he will discuss One Nation One Leader. All of this holds no meaning."

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav recently made a pledge to women, saying he would give them Rs 2500. He has termed this initiative the Mai Bahan Samman Yojana.
