Bihar Election 2025: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav made a direct appeal to the youth of Bihar through a Facebook Live session, urging them to give the Mahagathbandhan a chance in the upcoming assembly elections. He promised employment opportunities, better infrastructure and overall development if voted to power.

Speaking during the live address, Tejashwi said, “I just want to tell all the youth of Bihar that in your entire life, just for once, vote for Mahagathbandhan to get jobs, better opportunities and development of Bihar. I am not asking for 20 years. I just need your support and five years. If I fail to fulfil all of my promises, then you can vote me out.”

Tejashwi, the younger son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, continued his campaign on Sunday in Mahua, the home constituency of his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav. Addressing a rally, he called on voters to back RJD candidate Mukesh Roshan, asserting that he would emerge victorious. “No matter who comes or goes, it doesn’t make a difference. What matters is the party,” he told supporters.

At the same rally, Tejashwi repeated his key election promises, assuring jobs for every household and ensuring dignity and safety for women. He also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, “Modi ji may set up factories in Gujarat to get votes and form a government in Bihar, but that will not happen.”

Earlier in the day, Tejashwi expressed confidence that the Mahagathbandhan would form the next government, pledging strict law enforcement after taking office. “There isn’t a single day when firing doesn’t happen in Bihar. The Mahagathbandhan is going to form the government and between 26th November and 26th January, criminals will be arrested and strict action will be taken against them,” he said.
