Bihar Assembly Elections: As Bihar gears up for the upcoming Assembly elections, the presence of political dynasts remains prominent. A significant number of candidates contesting the 243-member Bihar Assembly are sons, daughters, wives, or close relatives of established politicians, underlining the continued influence of political families in the state.

According to experts, no party in the poll-bound state can claim moral superiority when it comes to fielding candidates from political dynasties. This trend transcends party lines and has become a norm rather than an exception in the state’s electoral politics.
