NextBank Holiday On June 17: According to the Reserve Bank of India's holiday calendar for 2024, almost all commercial banks, both public sector and private sector, will be closed on Monday, June 17, for Bakrid (Eid al-Adha). However, all the online banking services like net banking, mobile banking, and UPI services will be available during the period. The bank closure will affect services such as cash deposits, withdrawals, and check clearance.

Schedule of banks

Saturday, June 15- Most banks will be open and all banking services will be available. However, banks in Aizawl and Bhubaneswar cities may be shut due to local holidays.
Sunday, June 16- Usual holiday 
Monday, June 17-  All banks will be closed across the country for Bakrid.
Tuesday, June 18-  Additional Bakrid bank holiday for Jammu and Srinagar only.

Stock exchanges will remain closed on Eid al-Adha

Stock Market to be closed June 17

The New York Stock Exchange and the Bahrain Stock Exchange will remain closed on Monday, June 17, for Bakrid. According to the BSE website, the Equity Sector, Equity Derivatives Sector, and SLB Sector will also remain closed on June 17. The Indian stock market will resume trading on June 18, according to the BSE and NSE websites.
