Bank Holidays in July 2024: There are no major festivals in July but despite this, banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in different parts of the country. These holidays also include the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. Below we have discussed where banks will be closed in July 2024.

On which days will bank employees get leave in July?

The first holiday of the month is on July 3, bank employees will be on off in Shillong for Behdienkhlam. Banks will be closed on July 6 in Aizawl on account of MHIP Day. Then on July 7, which is Sunday, all banks will remain closed across the nation. Banks will be closed in Kang in Imphal on July 8. Banks will be closed in Gangtok on July 9 due to Drukpa Tshe-zi. Dehradun's Bank employees will be enjoying off on July 16 at the Harela festival.

Muharram Holiday

Muharram festival will be celebrated on July 17, and on this day banks will remain closed in Agartala, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Srinagar. Banks will remain open in Thiruvananthapuram, Panaji, Kochi, Kohima, Itanagar, Imphal, Guwahati, Gangtok, Dehradun, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh on this day.

The Reserve Bank of India has released the complete list of bank holidays. On Sundays, banks all over the country will remain closed on July 14, 21, and 28. At the same time, bank employees will get leave on July 13 and 27 due to second and fourth Saturdays. During this period, online facilities of banks will continue. Customers will be able to avail of these services without any interruption at the time of need.
