Complete List of Bank closing days in April 2024: The new fiscal year will commence on April 1, 2024. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the list of bank holidays in April. Like each month, there will be several bank holidays in April too. According to the RBI's official website, banks will remain closed for 14 days in April, which includes multiple festival holidays in different states, and weekly bank holidays on Saturday and Sunday.

In such a situation, if you have to do any crucial banking-related work in April, then you must verify the list of holidays before going to the bank. You need to know when the banks will remain closed throughout April to avoid any difficulties completing bank-related work.

Weekly Bank Closure In April 2024

April 7, 2024 - Banks will be closed throughout the country on Sunday.
April 13, 2024 - Due to the second Saturday of the month, banks will be closed throughout the country.
April 14, 2024 - Sunday, banks will be closed throughout the country.
April 21, 2024 - Banks will be closed throughout the country on Sunday.
April 27, 2024 - Due to the fourth Saturday of the month, banks will be closed throughout the country.
April 28, 2024 - Sunday, banks will be closed throughout the country.

List of bank holidays in April 2024

April 1, 2024 - Banks will be closed throughout the country because of the annual account closing

April 5, 2024 - Banks will be closed in Telangana, Jammu, and Srinagar on the occasion of Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday and Jamaat-ul-Vida.

April 9, 2024 - Banks will be closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Panaji, and Srinagar on the occasion of Gudi Padwa / Ugadi Festival / Telugu New Year and first Navratri.

April 10, 2024 - Banks will be closed in Kochi and Kerala on the occasion of Ramzan-Eid.

April 11, 2024 - Banks will be closed throughout the country except Chandigarh, Gangtok, and Kochi on the occasion of Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr.

April 15, 2024 - Banks will be closed in Guwahati and Shimla on the occasion of Bohag Bihu and Himachal Day.

April 17, 2024 - On the occasion of Ram Navami, banks will be closed in Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Nagpur.

April 20, 2024: Banks will be closed in Agartala on the occasion of Garia Puja.
