Rules Changing From June 01: Financial regulations alter every month first. These rules impact day to day life of common citizens as they include domestic and commercial gas cylinder prices, and rules related to investment, and finance. Some new financial practices will be introduced from the commencement of June as well. Below are the details about financial rules changing from June 1, 2024.

Traffic regulations 

New transportation regulations will become pertinent from 1 June. You may have to pay a heavy fine if you breach these regulations. As per the new regulations, A person riding above the speed limit will have to pay a fine of between Rs 1,000 and Rs. 2,000.  And for driving without a license, a fine of Rs 500 will have to be paid. A fine of Rs 100 will have to be paid for not wearing a helmet and Rs. 100 for not wearing a seatbelt.

Rs 25,000 fine for minor drivers

As per media reports, driving license has become imperative while driving a vehicle. If people under the age of 18 are caught driving, they will have to pay a fine of up to Rs. 25,000. In addition, the driving license of the vehicle owner may also be revoked and the minor will not be given a license until he turns 25 years old.

LPG cylinder Price

LPG gas cylinder prices are revised on the first of each month. On 1 June, oil marketing companies will decide the gas cylinder prices. In May, companies had decreased the costs of commercial cylinders. Now there is a chance that companies can again decrease cylinder costs in June.

Bank holidays in June

Banks will remain shut for 10 days in June. In this, banks are going to remain shut for 6 days because of Sunday, second and fourth Saturday. Banks are going to remain shut for the rest of the day because of festivals. There will be other holidays like Raja Sankranti on 15 June and Eid-ul-Adha on 17 June which will be pertinent to all banks in India except for certain states.
