Gold Rate Today: The yellow metal price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 10 in early trade on Wednesday, Dec 24, with ten grams of the precious metal trading at Rs 1,38,560, according to the GoodReturns website. The price of silver also jumped by Rs 100, with one kilogram of the precious metal selling at Rs 2,23,100. The price of 22-carat gold rose by Rs 10, with ten grams of the yellow metal selling at Rs 1,27,010.

Today, the 24-carat gold rate in India showed a marginal increase across quantities. The price for 1 gram stands at Rs 13,856, up by Rs 1 from yesterday’s ₹13,855. For 8 grams, the rate is Rs 1,10,848, an increase of Rs 8 compared to Rs 1,10,840. The 10-gram price rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,38,560, while 100 grams is now priced at Rs 13,85,600, up by Rs 100 from the previous day.

22 Karat Gold Price In India On Dec 24 

Today, the 22-carat gold price in India also recorded a slight rise. The rate for 1 gram is Rs 12,701, up by Rs 1 from yesterday’s Rs 12,700. The price of 8 grams increased by Rs 8 to Rs 1,01,608, compared to Rs 1,01,600 yesterday. The 10-gram rate climbed by Rs 10 to Rs 1,27,010, while 100 grams now costs Rs 12,70,100, reflecting a Rs 100 increase from Rs 12,70,000.

18 Karat Gold Price In India On Dec 24 

Today, the 18-carat gold rate in India witnessed a marginal rise across all quantities. The price of 1 gram stands at Rs 10,392, up by Rs 1 from yesterday’s Rs 10,391. The rate for 8 grams increased by Rs 8 to Rs 83,136, compared to Rs 83,128 previously. The 10-gram price moved up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,03,920, while 100 grams is now priced at Rs 10,39,200, reflecting a Rs 100 increase from Rs 10,39,100.

Gold prices have surged sharply in December, hitting new record levels. On Tuesday alone, 24K gold jumped by Rs 2,400 per 10 grams. Market experts say the sharp movement is being driven by global economic pressures, particularly a softer US dollar and rising geopolitical tensions in South America.
