Gold Rate Today: The future gold rate for April 04, 2025 fell a bit on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, but it remained above 86,000 after a significant rise in the last trading session. Last week, the future gold price surpassed the Rs 86,000 mark for the first time in March but fell below the mark following the volatility. Today, at around 10:09 am,  the future rate of gold was trading at Rs 86,038.0, down 0.13% as compared to the previous day's closing value.  This month the rate of gold has experienced a lot of ups and downs, while in February, it was soaring high.

The gold rate in the retail market surged significantly today. The price of 22 carat purity gold in India today is Rs. 80,650 per 10 grams, which is much lower than the prices last week. At the same time, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs. 87,980 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 18 carat gold in the retail market is Rs. 65,990 per 10 grams.

We all should be aware of the fact that the prices of gold in the retail market in all parts of the country keep changing every day, tracking global market trends, foreign exchange conditions and supply and demand. That is why, one should check the latest gold prices in their city before making any purchase.
