Similarly, 22-karat gold saw a jump of Rs 115 to Rs 11,200 per gram from Rs 11,085 yesterday. The price of 18-karat gold also rose by Rs 94, from Rs 9,073 to Rs 9,167 per gram. As the festivities of Diwali are approaching, investors are flocking to gold, increasing the average price of gold.

Global economic trends such as Russian oil exports, Trump tariffs, India's geopolitical and trade tensions with other nations, and fluctuating rupee and dollar values, have contributed to this rapid price rise.
