The price for 24 karat gold has climbed to Rs 12,077 per gram, marking an increase of Rs 137 from the previous day. Similarly, 22 karat gold is now trading at Rs 11,070 per gram, up by Rs 125, and the price of 18 karat gold has risen by Rs 103 to Rs 9,058 per gram.
This sharp increase in the price of the yellow metal is influenced by a combination of domestic and international factors, including shifts in the value of the rupee against the US dollar and robust global demand.
