Gold Price Today: The yellow metal was priced at Rs 13,059 per gram for 24-karat gold, Rs 11,971 per gram for 22-karat gold, and Rs 9,795 per gram for 18-karat gold in India on Thursday, December 4. Silver was quoted at Rs 191.10 per gram and Rs 1,91,100 per kilogram.

Silver prices in India are influenced by international market trends, which may fluctuate in either direction. Over the years, gold has served as a reliable hedge against inflation, leading more investors to consider it a key investment option. Silver prices also depend on rupee-dollar currency movements, meaning if the rupee weakens against the dollar while global prices stay steady, silver becomes costlier.
