Gold Price Today: Ever since the festive season has gone, the rate of gold has been declining continuously following the weak demand in the retail market. Today, at around 9:26 am, the gold was trading at Rs 73,830, falling 0.88 per cent against the previous day's closing price on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), a commodity exchange platform. Earlier, the gold rates topped the 80,0000 mark during the festive season. On community platforms the rate of yellow metal keeps changing during the day, however, it remains the same for the given day in the retail market.

As the demand plunges after the festive season, the rate of gold in India's retail market has also seen a huge decline. Today, on November 14, the rate of 22 karats gold in India is Rs 70,440, it was over Rs 76 thousand in festive season. While the rate for 24-karat gold today is Rs 76,840 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, For 18 karats of gold, the price is Rs 57,630 per 10 grams. The price of gold in the retail market had soared a lot during Diwali, and Dhnateras.
