Gold Silver Price: The prices of gold and silver have significantly dipped a day after Diwali, marking the biggest decline in the past four years. While the gold fell by about 3.8 per cent after reaching a new peak of USD 4,381 per ounce on Monday, the silver also fell from USD 54 to USD 50 per ounce in a single day. The experts suggest that several reasons are responsible for the decline in the prices, including the end of the festival seasons in India, the US dollar's strength, and the reduction in tensions between the US and China. Apart from this, the technical indicators are now showing that the price of gold had reached the overbought zone, indicating that the phase of profit booking has started.
