MCX Gold, Silver Price Today: The bullion prices surged in early trade in the domestic futures market after having a mild decline in the previous session. The Silver futures contract soared about Rs 8,000 to Rs 2,60,838 per kilogram in early trade on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as compared to last session's closing of Rs 2,52,548.

Similarly, Gold futures contract on MCX rose nearly Rs 2,000 to 1,58,436 per 10 grams in early trade, compared to last day's closing of Rs 1,56,803.

At around 10:25 Am, the MCX Gold (April expiry) was trading at Rs 1,57,627, up Rs 824 or 53 per cent. Whereas, MCX Silver (March expiry) was at Rs 2,58,432, up Rs 5,884 or 2.33 per cent.

"MCX Gold futures are trading near ₹1,57,800 after consolidating from all-time highs around Rs 1,80,000–Rs 1,81,000. While short-term consolidation persists, the long-term bullish framework remains intact. The Rs 1,45,000–Rs 1,50,000 band continues to act as a strong accumulation zone. Sustained holding above this base, followed by a breakout above Rs 1,60,000, could trigger renewed upside toward Rs 1,65,000–Rs 1,75,000," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money. 

Gold and Silver Price in the International Market

The gold rate inched a bit in the international market. At the time of writing, COMEX gold was trading at $5,073.80 per ounce, up $42.80 or 0.85 per cent. At the same time, COMEX silver was at $82.290, up 2.37 per cent.

24k, 22k Gold Rate In India

The gold prices for the different purity levels inched higher in the domestic retail market. The 24 karat gold price today in India is Rs 1,58,050 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold rate today in India is Rs 1,44,879 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the 20 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,31,708 per 10 grams, while the 18 karat gold price is Rs 1,185,375 per 10 grams.
