HCL Share Price Today:  IT services company HCL Technologies' stock rose by nearly 5% after the company reported a 20.4 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 4,257 crore for the quarter ended June and gave a 3-5 percent revenue growth guidance for the fiscal year 2025. The stock rose by 4.83 percent to Rs 1,635.85 on the BSE.

On the NSE, it climbed 4.88 percent to Rs 1,636.40 per share. The company's market valuation increased by Rs 12,157.22 crore to Rs 4,35,597.52 crore during early trade. The stock emerged as the top gainer on the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty.

The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 290.46 points to 80,809.80 in early trade. The NSE Nifty rose 95.85 points to a new record high of 24,598.

HCLTech reported a 20.4 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 4,257 crore for the quarter ended June and gave guidance of 3-5 percent revenue growth for FY25 on GenAI's diversification and strong operational execution on Friday.

For the first quarter of the financial year ending June 2024 (Q1FY25), revenue stood at Rs 28,057 crore, 6.6 percent higher than in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, it was 1.6 percent lower than the March quarter.

HCLTech CEO and MD C Vijayakumar said the first-quarter revenue and EBIT performance were "slightly better than our expectations".

He said that the first quarter was a seasonally weak quarter for HCLTech, but assured that the Noida-based technology major would meet its year-on-year growth guidance.

"We stay with our full-year guidance of 3-5 percent growth in constant currency. In the first quarter, we have done better than what we had anticipated. In the second quarter, we are confident of positive growth in spite of the revenue from State Street divestment going away, we will grow.

"We will grow across all geographies and verticals, except financial services," he said at the company's press conference.
