HDFC Bank UPI: HDFC Bank has announced a temporary downtime for its Unified Payments Interface (UPI) service scheduled for November, with the goal of upgrading its digital infrastructure for a more stable and efficient user experience. This maintenance will result in a temporary suspension of certain UPI functionalities, affecting millions of customers and merchants across multiple platforms.

Scheduled Maintenance Windows For HDFC Bank UPI

November 5, 2024: 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

November 23, 2024: 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

These windows were carefully selected during off-peak times to minimize disruption when implementing system upgrades.
Impact on UPI services.  During this downtime, HDFC Bank customers and merchants will experience a temporary halt in UPI-based financial and non-financial transactions.

Impact on transaction

- HDFC Bank Current and Savings Accounts
- Credit card holders using UPI in Rupees
- UPI platforms such as HDFC MobileBanking, Gpay, WhatsApp Pay, Paytm, Phonepe and others.
- Merchants acquired by HDFC Bank will also be unable to process UPI payments during this downtime.
