Number of UPI IDs can be linked to one bank account?

The answer is, 4 UPI IDs can be linked to one bank account. If you think you have an excess of UPI ID with a single bank account, then you can delete UPI IDs as well.

On the UPI app, you have to create a VPA or Virtual Payment Address. VPA varies from service provider to service provider. Like if you are using a phone, then its VPA will be your mobile number @ybl. If you are using Google Pay then, its address will be your name @obbankname.

How to create separate UPI IDs?

All UPI users have to create a VPA or User ID that will be linked to their bank account. Multiple bank accounts can be linked to a single mobile app. However, each bank account will have its own separate UPI ID. One of these will be the primary bank account.
Having multiple UPI IDs with different banks helps a lot. It gives you the freedom to pay or receive money in an account of your choice.
