Car Price Hike: Maruti Suzuki on Thursday said it will hike prices of various models by up to Rs 32,500 from February 1 to partially offset the rise in input costs. Due to rising input costs and operating expenses, the company plans to raise the prices of cars from February 1, 2025, Maruti Suzuki India said in a regulatory filing.
Under the revised prices, the ex-showroom price of the company's compact car Celerio will increase by up to Rs 32,500, while the price of premium model Invicto will increase by up to Rs 30,000.
"While the company is committed to optimising costs and reducing the impact on the customers, we are constrained to pass on some of the increased expenses to the market," it added.

The price of the company's popular model Wagon-R is up to Rs 15,000 while that of Swift is up by Rs 5,000. The price of Brezza and Grand Vitara SUVs will increase by Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively.
The filing said the price of the entry-level small car Alto K10 will increase by up to Rs 19,500 and the S-Presso by Rs 5,000.
The price of the premium compact model Baleno is expected to increase by up to Rs 9,000, the compact SUV Fronox by Rs 5,500 and the compact sedan Dzire by Rs 10,000.
The company currently sells a wide range of vehicles, ranging from the entry-level Alto K10, priced at Rs 3.99 lakh, to the Invicto (Rs 28.92 lakh).
