Nithin Kamath Hearth Stroke: Nithin Kamath, co-founder and CEO of stock brokerage service platform 'Zerodha', made a shocking disclosure that he had suffered a mild stroke six weeks ago. Kamath shared the information on the social media platform 'X'.

Nithin has also expressed surprise at how a fit and health-conscious person like him can fall victim to a stroke. Nitin, along with his brother Nikhil Kamat, had laid the foundation of the affordable broking platform Zerodha, which is one of the top brokerage firms in India.

Nithin was born on 5 October 1979 in Shimoga, Karnataka. He has a BE degree in Computer Science. In 2008, He got married to Seema, who works as Quality Chief at Zerodha itself. Nitin Kamath's wealth is estimated at $5.4 billion. He is also the co-founder of a venture capital firm named Rainmatter.

Zerodha is counted among the largest discount brokers in the country. It has more than 1 crore active subscribers and it employs around 1500 people. Nithin with his brother laid the foundation of the company in 2010 in Bangalore.

"Around 6 weeks ago, I had a mild stroke out of the blue. Dad passing away, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking out —any of these could be possible reasons," posted Nithin.

He said that he is facing difficulties in reading and writing.

"I've gone from having a big droop in the face and not being able to read or write to having a slight droop but being able to read and write more. From being absent-minded to more present-minded. So, 3 to 6 months for full recovery," said Nithin Kamath.

Nithin also expressed surprise at how a fitness freak like him could be affected by a stroke.

"I wondered why a person who's fit and takes care of himself could be affected. The doctor said you need to know when you need to shift the gears down a bit Slightly broken, but still getting my treadmill count.," he said further.
