PM Kisan 16th Installment: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a primary welfare scheme for farmers run by the union government. Eligible Farmers across the country get direct benefits from the scheme.
Under the welfare scheme, the Government provides Rs 6,000 annually to farmers and the amount gets transferred to bank accounts in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each in a year. The 15th instalment for the same has been released and the union government is up to send the 16th instalment to beneficiaries. Meanwhile, many people have common a question 'whether both father and son get the benefit of the installment under this scheme?' Now, let's understand the rule.
What does the rule say?
If you have the same question that both son and father can get the benefit of the 16th instalment? So the answer to your query is no. As per rules only one member of the family can get the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Recently, the Government have sent notices to people who have been receiving instalments despite not being eligible to get the benefits under the scheme.
In such a situation, it can be understood that only one member of the family can get the benefit of the scheme. You must keep one thing in mind, if you want to avail the benefits provided by the PM Kisan scheme, you must have agricultural land in your name. If you don't possess land, then you will not be able to avail the benefit of the scheme.
Work to complete before the 16th Installment of PM Kisan
To get the benefit of the 16th instalment of PM Kisan, then you must complete your e-KYC, Failingling to do so can deprive you of the 16th instalment. You can visit any nearest CSC centre or bank to complete your e-KYC. You can also do it from the official PM Kisan portal.
If there is any mistake in the form like bank account, Aadhaar number or you have not got the land verification done etc. In such situations, you could be exempted from the beneficiary list.
