PM Kisan eKYC: The beneficiary farmers are now awaiting the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana as the Kharif season has begun. However, farmers whose Aadhaar is not linked to their bank account would not get the next installment like many farmers were excluded from the 22nd installment for the same reason.

The Narendra Modi government has released 22 installments of the PM Kisan Yojana so far, and the last installment was released by PM Modi from Assam on March 13. He transferred Rs 18,640 crore to the accounts of over 9 crore eligible farmers.

PM Kisan Yojana is a farmer welfare scheme run by the Union government, wherein an amount of Rs 6,000 is being transferred directly to the account of eligible farmers in three equal installment of Rs 2,000. The installment of Rs 2,000 usually hits farmers' accounts every four month.

KYC Is Mandatory

To get the uninterrupted benefit of PM Kisan, eligible farmers should always keep their KYC updated, as eKYC is mandatory to receive the Rs 2,000 installment under the scheme. So, farmers whose eKYC is not completed may face difficulty in getting the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana.

In addition, Farmers must also ensure that their Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account.

How To Complete eKYC For PM Kisan

Farmers can complete their eKYC online by visiting pmkisan.gov.in and selecting the e-KYC option. They will need to enter their Aadhaar number, validate it via OTP, and submit it for verification.

You need to visit the official PM Kisan website (https://pmkisan.gov.in/).
Find the Beneficiary Status option from the home page and click on it
In the next step, enter your Aadhaar number or account number.
Now, click on "Get Data."
Check beneficiary status.
Your payment status will be there as well

23rd Instalment Expected Date

Though the official date has not been announced yet, the next Rs 2,000 instalment is expected to be released in June-July. Earlier, the first instalment of the financial year was mostly released in June-July period.
