On the day of Dhanteras, most places, such as banks and schools, remain closed. Therefore, people are confused about whether the stock market will also be closed on this day.

Will The Stock Market Be Closed Tomorrow?

Tomorrow, the festival of Dhanteras is celebrated across the country. Now, to the question is that trading at the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) will be closed tomorrow October 18 or not. However, this closure is not because of Dhanteras.

Tomorrow, October 18, falls on a Saturday. The stock market remains closed on Saturdays. Therefore, no trading of any kind will take place on the BSE and NSE.

When Else Will The Stock Market Be Closed?

October 21: On this day, the country's biggest festival, Diwali, will be celebrated. The market will also be closed at the time of Lakshmi Pujan. However, a Muhurat trading session will run from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm. The market will be open for 1 hour at this time.

October 22: There will be no trading in the stock market on the day of Diwali Balipratipada.

The stock market is mostly closed only on National Holidays.
