Suzlon Energy Share: The shares of Suzlon Energy, a company engaged in the wind energy business, on Wednesday zoomed 5% to hit the upper circuit at Rs 46.23 per share. The sharp rise in the company's shares has been attributed to the receipt of new orders. In an exchange filing, the energy sector company said that it has received new orders of 402 MW from Juniper Green Energy. On Tuesday, Suzlon Energy's shares had closed at Rs 44.03.
First order since March 2024
Since March this year, Suzlon Energy has disclosed its first order to the stock exchanges. Under this new order, Suzlon Energy will supply and install 134 wind turbine generators. The project is scheduled to be executed in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. A project of this size can provide electricity to about 3.3 lakh houses. Along with this, it will prevent the emission of about 13 lakh tonnes of carbon dioxide every year. Suzlon Energy will also oversee the operations and maintenance work.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, says, 'This order will assist us in expanding our reach in Rajasthan.' On March 7 this year, Suzlon Energy disclosed the previous order to the stock exchanges. The company's previous order was from Juniper Green Energy. The company bagged a 72.45 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
Suzlon Energy's shares rose 400 percent in a year
In the previous year, Suzlon Energy's shares have risen 400 percent. On May 22, 2023, the shares of the Wind Energy Company stood at Rs 9.29. On May 22, 2024, the shares of the company have climbed to Rs 46.23. In the previous 2 years, Suzlon Energy's shares have seen a tremendous surge of 565 percent. The company's shares have a 52-week high level of Rs 50.72. At the same time, the 52-week low level of Suzlon Energy's shares is Rs 9.15.
