IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: India's star opener Abhishek Sharma is on the cusp of breaking Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Rizwan's record of being the batter who has smashed the most 30-plus scores in the shortest format. Abhishek, Rohit, and Rizwan have all smashed seven 30-plus scores till now.
On the back of Abhishek's third half-century of the ongoing tournament, the Mein in Blue had posted a mammoth target of 202/5, but Pathumn Nissanka's heroics had taken the team inch closer toward victory.
Abhishek had smashed 30 runs at least during the last seven matches and had leveled the record, which was earlier held by Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Rizwan.

Abhishek had achieved this milestone at a brilliant strike rate of 216.59 and had joined Aaron Finch, who was the only other cricketer to bat at a strike rate of more than 200 and had scored 400 runs after playing in seven matches.
India cruised to a Super Over win
India's star wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson got the much-needed match practice as he scored a gritty knock of 39 runs after Abhishek's batting prowess.
It was the highest total posted by any team in the ongoing tournament as it surpassed the total of 188 runs against Oman, and Afghanistan had posted the same total against Hong Kong.
Abhishek posted a match-winning knock of 61 runs off 31 balls, whereas Samson had smashed brilliant sixes during his 22-ball innings.
