IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: The Men in Blue have been dominant during the ongoing edition of the Asia Cup, having defeated all their opponents and beaten arch-rivals Pakistan twice, thereby qualifying for the summit clash. Since both teams will be playing against each other in the final, the fans will be reminded of the heartbreak they suffered during the 2017 Champions Trophy summit clash as India will try to defeat Pakistan on Sunday.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led side has been the most successful in the history of the tournament as they have won the title eight times in both T20Is and ODIs. Three Indian captains-Mohammad Azharuddin, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma have helped the team lift the title twice.
At the same time, Pakistan has qualified for the summit clash five times and has won twice.
Ahead of the upcoming final, let's take a look at the highest run-getters in IND vs PAK T20Is.
1. Virat Kohli- 492 runs in 11 matches
India's star batter Virat Kohli is at the top position in this list as he has scored 492 runs after playing in 11 matches against arch-rivals Pakistan. He has played a huge role in helping India win matches during high-octane clashes. He also scored a match-winning knock of 82 runs at MCG way back in the 2022 T20 World Cup. This was one of the best knocks in the history of this format.
2. Mohammad Rizwan
Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan has been one of the consistent batters against India. After playing just 5 matches, he had scored 228 runs. His brilliant knock of 79 runs way back in the 2021 T20 World Cup had helped the team win the historic match. He might not have played like Kohli, but his consistent performances did prove his worth.
3. Shoaib Malik- 164 runs in 9 matches
He has performed consistently well in this rivalry. He had scored 164 runs after playing in nine matches against the Men in Blue. He always played the role of a middle-order batsman after the team suffered a batting collapse. Although his stats might not be big, he did play well in pressure situations.
4. Mohammad Hafeez-158 runs in eight matches
He has had a mixed record against arch-rivals India. He had scored 156 runs after playing in eight matches. But his strike rate of 118 did raise questions about his position in the playing XI. But he has still proved his worth in this format.
5. Yuvraj Singh- 155 runs in eight matches
He was India's big-match player, and against arch-rivals Pakistan, he hasn't missed a chance to perform. He had scored 155 runs after playing in eight matches. His aggressive batting gave the Pakistani bowlers a hard time.
