AUS vs SL, ODI World Cup 2023: David Warner lost his cool and was seen reacting angrily after being given LBW out during Australia vs Sri Lanka match in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 in Lucknow on Monday.
The Ekana Cricket Stadium witnessed the five-time champions clinching their first win of the tournament, having lost the first two matches against India and South Africa.
While chasing the target of 210 runs, Pat Cummins' side suffered an early blow as opener Warner and star batter Steve Smith were dismissed cheaply.
Talking about Warner's dismissal, he was adjudged LBW out and was left fuming the moment umpire Joel Wilson raised his finger. The 36-year-old Warner opted to take DRS but the replays showed that the ball was just clipping the stumps.

The decision remained out with the umpire's call and Warne had to head back to the pavilion as he hurled a mouthful along the way and even slammed his bat once on his way back to the dressing room.
In the fourth over of Australia's run chase, Warner moved a bit towards the leg side to steer a length delivery on the on side off Dilshan Madushanka.
However, he missed it completely and was struck on pads, the bowler appealed and the umpire gave the Aussie batter out.
A controversy had erupted in Australia's previous match against South Africa as well when Steve Smith and Marcus Stoinis were given out. Both batters made their displeasure clear and the Aussies went on to lose the match.
A few balls later Madushanka also removed Steve Smith as he trapped the star batter in front to leave the Pat Cummins-led side in a bothering situation.
Mitchell Marsh kept things calm at the other end and scored a brilliant half-century, a first by any Aussie batter in the ongoing tournament.
Josh Inglis also scored a fifty and got promising support from Marnus Labuschagne as the duo took the team close to victory.

Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis remained unbeaten and won the match for their team in the 35.2 overs with seven wickets in hand.
This was the first win for Australia in the tournament as they opened their account with the two points to remain alive in the contention to make it to the knockout stage.
