AUS-A vs IND-A: India A skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad's lean patch in Australia continued on Friday as he got out after scoring just five runs during the second innings of the first unofficial Test against Australia A. He got out for a first-ball duck during the first innings but not much changed during the second innings as well.
He had a flying start as he smashed a four during the third over. But while trying to score quick runs, he played a cover drive and mistimed it as Fergus O'Neill, who was standing at slips took a stunning catch.

The Indian batting lineup suffered another blow when Abhimanyu Easwaran was also dismissed by a runout, and the Men in Blue soon suffered a batting collapse during the ninth over.

But Sai Sudharsan and Devdutt Padikkal helped the team bounce back and handed the team a lead with some brilliant batting.
India A was skittled out for 107 runs during the first innings as the captain and the other batters failed to fire with the bat.
