BCCI (Board of Cricket Control in India) on Tuesday named a 15-member squad for the upcoming Asian Cricket Council’s Rising Stars Asia Cup to be held in Qatar. The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has also five standby players for the upcoming tournament scheduled to take place from 14th to 23rd November 2025 at West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

Among notable names, openers Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have been named in the squad. India A are placed in Group B alongside Oman, UAE and Pakistan A.

RCB's star wicketkeeper batter Jitesh Sharma has been named captain of the side with Naman Dhir as his deputy. Ashutosh Sharma, Nehal Wadhera, Ramandeep Singh and Suryansh Shegde will form the middle-order of the batting line-up.

The pace battery included the likes of Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Vijay Kumar Vyshak and Yudhvir Singh Charak. Harsh Dubey and Suyash Sharma are the spinners in the squad.

Bengal's Abhisek Porel has been added as a back-up wicketkeeper.
