Mohit Sharma, the star Indian pacer is one of the several players to have shared the dressing room with legendary skipper MS Dhoni both at the Chennai Super Kings and with the national team.
Mohit who first came into the limelight after his impressive performance in the IPL under Dhoni's captaincy while playing for CSK. The right-arm pacer recalled how one of his acts during a CLT20 match made Dhoni furious and even after he managed to take a wicket, the veteran was still fuming.
Over the years, Dhoni build an image of a skipper with calm behavious even in pressure situations. However, there have been instances when MSD was seen losing his cool on the field and Mohit revealed one of such incidents, adding to the growing list of moments where latter's composure slipped.
"I had a lot of moments. Mahi bhai has a cool and calm aura. You do not expect him to lose his cool. Being a young guy, you get excited when he loses his cool at you. There was a moment in the CLT20 against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Mahi bhai called Ishwar Pandey to bowl, but I thought he called me," Mohit said while speaking to CricTracker.

"I started my run-up, but Mahi bhai said that he didn’t call me to bowl and he tried calling Ishwar. The umpire said that I have to continue bowling as I had begun my run-up," Mohit added.
"He (Dhoni) lost his cool at me and abused me. I took Yusuf [Pathan] bhai‘s wicket on the first ball. During the celebration, Mahi bhai was still hurling abuses. At the same time, I had a lot of off-field moments," Mohit said.
The 36-year-old played for CSK from 2013 to 2015 in his first stint before joining them again in 2019 season. However, tables turned in the IPL 2023 as Mohit was up against CSK in the final while playing for the Gujarat Titans and even bowled the final over of the match.
Having played 120 IPL matches, Mohit has taken 134 wickets at an average of 26.22. He has played for CSK, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings.
