England vs India 5th Test: India were bowled out for 396 runs in their second innings of the ongoing fifth and final Test against England at the Kennington Oval on Saturday. The hosts wrapped things up in 88 overs and will now have to chase down the 374-run target to win.
England will need to register a record chase in the fourth innings in order to clinch the series. Currently, they are 2-1 ahead. The Oval in London has historically been a tough venue for fourth-innings run chases, with a target of 200-plus being overhauled only six times at the iconic ground.

The highest successful run chase at the venue was registered by England way back in 1902, when they got home by accomplishing the 263-run target with just one wicket in hand against arch-rivals Australia. However, since the turn of the century, only one team has chased a target of more than 200 runs at The Oval. Sri Lanka had achieved the feat last year in September, chasing down a 219-run target against England.
